Dr Natalia Volovyk, Deputy Department Head of the Validation and Reference Standards Department at Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines, was invited as a keynote speaker to the training webinar on the use of reference standards in the pharmaceutical analysis targeted at students at the Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MM University) in Sadopur, India.
Hosted by the MM School of Pharmacy, MM University, the webinar brought together around 150 participants. The speaker looked at the systems of reference standards present in the pharmaceutical sector, drawing the attention of an audience to the distinctive features of the system of reference standards designed by the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine to address the needs of users, followed by a Q&A session that sparked a lively and meaningful discussion.
State Scientific Center for Quality of Medicines is confident that the knowledge gained was useful for the students and looks forward to further cooperation with the MM School of Pharmacy, as well as other educational and scientific institutions of India. The seminar should contribute to the harmonization of pharmacopoeial approaches and the promotion of innovative approaches of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine at the international level.
