On June 26, 2024, a joint working meeting of the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines and the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control took place. The participants discussed issues related to ensuring the effective and safe operation of the center during and after the lifting of martial law and its development prospects.
Currently, the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines operates in normal mode, taking measures to preserve staff and property and to support and develop its main activities, including the development of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine (SPhU), certification of SPhU reference standards, proficiency testing of quality control laboratories for medicines, and laboratory analysis of medicines and pharmaceutical substances.
Besides, representatives of the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, and the Research and Technology Complex "Institute for Single Crystals" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine discussed ongoing joint projects and prospects for cooperation in the scientific field.
