The Department of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine (Head – Andrii KOTOV, D.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Senior Researcher) in collaboration with the Department of Experimental Support for the Development of Monographs on Herbal Drugs (Head – Elina KOTOVA, PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Senior Researcher) has developed a draft monograph on Cannabis Extract Standardized N for inclusion in Supplement 8 of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine 2nd edition (SPU 2.8), which is planned for publication in 2025.
The draft monograph has been developed based on the monograph Eingestellter Cannabisextrakt from the German Pharmacopoeia (DAB) and has been fully adapted to the Ukrainian language, style, and references to other texts in the SPhU. Note that the monograph is set to acquire national status.
The Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines expresses its gratitude to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) for their collaboration and ongoing support, as well as for the permission obtained in 2023 to use the texts of the German Pharmacopoeia (DAB) and the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia (GHP) in the SPhU.
