We are pleased to share that the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines received a thank you letter from the USP Council of the Convention and the USP staff, recognizing our contribution to the draft Resolutions Concepts for the 2025 – 2030 cycle.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeial Center for Quality of Medicines has been a member of the USP Convention since 2010, with Oleksandr Gryzodub serving as our representative from 2010 until 2023 and Natalia Volovyk as our representative since 2023. It is an honour to be part of this community and to help shape the future direction of USP and strengthen global public health through quality standards at large.
The USP team shared some impressive insights regarding member participation in this cycle:
- 139 comments were submitted across all seven draft Resolutions Concepts
- Comments came from members across all six Membership categories
- Contributions were made by members from 12 different countries, including Ukraine
- A total of 470 endorsements were submitted
As the process continues, the Council will finalize the Resolutions Report and the Bylaws Report, scheduled for release on March 3, 2025. There will be opportunities for further member input during the Open Hearings at the 2025 USP Convention Meeting, where comments on the Proposed Resolutions will be considered before the final voting period begins.
Sharing USP’s values and diverse perspectives, we look forward to continuing our active participation in this important initiative.
