The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, under which the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopeial Center for Quality of Medicines operates, advocates for strengthening and expanding partnership relations with scientific and research institutions, aiming for interaction in the healthcare sector that matches national interests in the development of science and industry.

On April 3, 2024, the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopeial Center for Quality of Medicines, represented by the director Grygoriy Luchentsov, PhD, and the Scientific and Technological Complex "Institute for Single Crystals" of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, represented by its first deputy general director, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine, professor Valentin Chebanov, concluded an Agreement on cooperation in the scientific sphere.

This step was the result of the high reputation of these leading institutions and their long-term fruitful cooperation aimed at scientific progress, particularly in the pharmaceutical field. The signing of the agreement was preceded by substantive discussions and working meetings, during which the parties discussed the key directions of further cooperation.

The deputy directors for science and quality from the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopeial Center for Quality of Medicines – Dmytro Leontiev, DSc, and Natalia Volovyk, PhD, and the deputy general director for science of the Scientific and Technological Complex, Kostiantyn Belikov, PhD, were invited to the signing ceremony.

This agreement opens new prospects for both organizations in the field of scientific research, innovation, and technological development, laying a solid foundation for enhancing Ukraine's scientific potential. Not only will it contribute to ensuring the high quality of medicinal products, but it will also ensure the strengthening of national security in the healthcare sector, especially crucial in the conditions of war and other challenges.
